I couldn't agree more.

I think the reason why we often end up getting hurt is because we always expect something in return. This doesn't only apply to material things but to our feelings as well.

It's inevitable, I know; To have that little hope in you that maybe the person you have fallen for feels the same way about you. And yes, it's true, sometimes we expect more from people because we would be willing to do as much for them.

But we should always remember that this isn't the reason why we love. We don't love to be loved back. We love because we have accepted those we love for who they really are. We love because all we want to do is to make those people happy and from that we feel happy too.

It's the kind of love that does not expect something in return, the kind of love that will always battle against pain no matter how hard it may be.

And that love is the feeling that will always have an effect on us, the feeling that will always make us skip a heartbeat, the feeling that we will always remember because it's the feeling that makes us say, I have truly loved. :)

Maraming bagay na hindi mo inaakala na mangyayari pero nangyari. Maraming bagay na di mo inaakalang makukuha mo. Masyado kasing maraming "surprises" ang buhay. Minsan nga nakakainis eh kasi puro nalang problema yung dumadating. Pero minsan, magagandang bagay din naman. Sinabi ko 'to sa kanya, na hindi man lang pumasok sa isip ko na makakasundo ko siya. Siguro dahil na rin sa mga nangyari dati na sabihin nalang nating may pagka magulo. Pero sabi ko nga rin, maraming "surprises" ang buhay. Di ko alam pano nagsimula pero biglang andun na. Siguro nung nakausap ko siya at narealize ko na okay pala siya. Mabait, mataba... Ay mali. Healthy pala! =))) (maisingit ko lang talaga) At isa pang hindi ko inaasahan, lalake siya pero nakikinig talaga siya sa mga walang kwenta kong kwento. Alam mo naman kasi kapag nakikinig yung kausap mo o hindi eh. Nararamdaman yun eh. Pero pag siya kausap ko, alam kong iniintindi nya ako kahit puro kalandian nalang. Chos! =)) Sobrang nagpapasalamat lang ako kasi binigyan ako ng pagkakataon ni Papa God na makakilala ng kaibigan na makikinig at iintindi sayo. Sobrang laking bagay kasi yung malaman na may handang makinig sayo, masaya ka man o malungkot. Blessing talaga.
